Procrastination
can destroy your career. Or stop you from ever starting your dream
career. Every writer has struggled with procrastination at some
point. If you haven't, contact me, I want to know your secret.
I've conquered the first step of overcoming my procrastination. But still I'm a perfectionist who is afraid of failing. And I'm still struggling.
My Story of Procrastinating
After
almost ten years of trying to be a writer and become an author, I have just published my first kindle. An ebook of
journaling prompts, Journal Prompts for Women. The first in my Creative Writing Journal Prompts
series.
I've conquered the first step of overcoming my procrastination. But still I'm a perfectionist who is afraid of failing. And I'm still struggling.
My First Plan of Action
So
why am I getting ready to start publishing two blogs--this one
and journalingblog.com?
Well, just to get started. I'm hoping that by doing these actions I
will create momentum to do more.
My Second Plan of Action
My Second Plan of Action
The second thing I want to do I learned from Thomas Edison. To live up to his commitments Edison would hold a press conference to announce his new ideas. This gave him a sorta accountability partner.
That's
what I plan to do here. I'm committing to my commitments by writing
this blog of my journey.
